Zube steps up to support Student Minds and support wellbeing

Zube have partnered with mental health organisation Student Minds to provide support and boost awareness.

As a student first business, we have always championed the importance of community and being open about mental health, so a partnership with Student Minds a natural fit for their business.

Student Minds works across the UK to support the university community, providing students somewhere to turn for help and to empower them to take control of their mental health whilst studying. As an organisation, they firmly believe that no student should be held back by their mental health.

Zube is an organisation led by and designed for students, and we have seen firsthand the importance of mental wellbeing and support for those studying including first years making the transition and settling into university life to those facing stressful exams and deadlines in second and third year.

Nav Dulai, CEO and founder of Zube, as well as a avid mental health & well-being advocate, said: “As a student first business, Zube has always been heavily focused on the wellbeing and mental health of students. University is a huge transition and journey as well as being a really intense period in people’s lives, which comes with its own stresses from studying and exams to making friends and building a support network.

“Some might only see us as a student laundry service, but we are more than that. Having clean clothes is a weight off people’s minds, lets them get on with what they need to and they also know that everything is cared for and looked after from the moment they hand it over to when it’s returned back to them.

“We’re proud to support students’ mental health and wellbeing and to be a partner with Student Minds, who deliver support and care to those who need it – no matter how big or small their problems.”

James Watson, Partnership Manager at Student Minds, said: “We are over the moon to be adding Zube to our network of partner organisations.

“We are extremely appreciative of their support and are excited to see how the organisation and partnership grows.”
